Couples Therapy

Couples are welcome to book in. You do not have to be in a relationship - you might be friends who need to work out issues. Please email me if this is something you require as prices are different and you may need a longer session than one hour.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy of 48 hours required for full refund.
Payment must be made 12 hours in advance of the sessions to secure the booking.

For package booking refunds - you will be refunded for the remainder of any sessions you do not wish to receive minus the number of sessions you have already received (which are charged at full price and not the discounted rate). Please note that if cancellations of the remainder of the sessions is less than 48 hours before the commencement of the next session you were due to have - you will also be charged for this session, which will be automatically deducted from the remainder to be refunded.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many therapy sessions will I need?

Emotional difficulties can be wide-ranging and long-standing, affecting self-esteem, friendships and relationships, and therefore it is very difficult to estimate exactly how many therapy sessions a person will need in order to feel as if they are reaching a point where they no longer need someone to talk to. Some find that several session are enough for them to move on, others find that more are needed. You move on when you feel you need to. It is up to the individual.

What if I only need one session - am I wasting your time?

No - you came to see someone to talk about things that have been upsetting you or bothering you. Sessions are never a waste of time. This is a safe space for you to have the freedom to say things that you may not feel you want to tell close friends or family members.

My child is not a great talker and really worries about meeting new people..

That's ok - lots of children feel this way.  Usually this feeling goes away after a few sessions.

My child will not sit still

Don't worry - I am used to this and prepared for it!
